PWM Controller and upgrades:
2008/04/23. The most recent version is now ready, though still all hand made. Additional sensivity adjustments have been included to compensate for the large variation in track supply voltages encountered on the slot.it challenge in the UK. New controllers will have this as standard, and it is available as an upgrade to fit to the earlier versions. Price is £20.00
Upgrade Sensitivity board features. (Trigger 0.0)
10-stage curve control. This sets the element feel by adjusting the shape of the throttle response curve from linear at setting '0' to logarithmic at setting '9'
10-stage top sensitivity control. This changes the upper element sensitivity by adjusting the amount by which the speed jumps from the last wiper segment to the final top contact for full speed.
Fast acting short circuit protection. This helps to prevent the drive Mosfets being damaged by short circuits caused by screws in the track, shorting motor braids, failed motors or any track condition which might result in high current draw through the controller.

2009/10/08. Production of the Printed Circuit Boards is underway, and those who are awaiting their orders should receive them by the end of October. It is aimed to have stock available from the web site towards the middle of November.
2009/11/01. Still on schedule for Stock availability for November, Additional current orders are still being processed, so stock will be produced once the are fulfilled.
(The new version is the same as the previous ones, but the boards have been mass prduced at a factory instead of hand made)
HO Controllers:
2008/09/06. Difficulites in designing the required features into the proposed budget have delayed the first prototypes. Testing should follow soon now that some ideas have come forward.
2009/04/26. Prototypes are being tested. News should follow fairly soon.
2009/07/05. Tests proved very positive for the general use of the controller, but the special HO features did not work as expected on an actual race track. Another design has been done and prototypes are under way. More news to follow once testing is done.
Digital Controllers:
2009/08/09: The first versions have been on sale for about a year now, and are still available in kit form from Pendle Slot Racing. Digital track racers have become more accostomed to the technology and are wanting more from the controllers. A new version is being tested and should be ready for production in a few weeks.
2009/10/08: Production is underway and the kit versioin as well as ready-to-use controllers will be available soon. Expected date is towards the end of October. Images and information should be on the site in the next week or so.
2009/11/01: Stock of boards has arrived now. Test results to finalise the response curves that will be available are to follow soon. Stock should be available towards the end of November this year.
2009/12/17: Stock has been built for Pendle Slot Racing and is available from their web site www.pendleslotracing.co.uk
2010/01/01: A £58.00 introductory price has been decided for the new Digital Controller and is available direct from TruSpeed or via participating dealers.
2010/05/12: A small percentage of users have reported contact issues, so to cure this a new upgraded contact wiper arm is underway and should be available by the end of June.

Club Transistor Controller:
Prototype testing has been very favourable, and a production version is being designed now.
The features and operating guide will appear soon, hopefully with images.
The existing prototypes have been sold to people who tested them but did not want to wait for the final versions, so testing will continue while production is set up.
2009/12/17: Final-design prototypes are underway. Results of tests and expected date of availability will be posted soon as possible.
2010/01/01: Production is now underway, and stock should be available direct from TruSpeed or from participating dealers by March 2010.
2010/03/05: The launch price is set at £72.00 and is available direct from TruSpeed or from participating dealers.
2010/05/12: Additional circuits have been added to allow greater braking on plastic track to suit that type of racing. This will be a standard addition to all new units from this date.
