Speed Control:
This is a Transistorised DC system. As the trigger is pulled, the DC voltage to the car progressively rises to increase the speed of the motor.
When wired up correctly the BP II has power LED's to show that it is on.
For Positively wired tracks the BLUE LED will illuminate.
For Negatively wired tracks the RED LED will illuminate.
Adjustable Spring Tension:
Easy adjustment with a cross head screwdriver to set the spring tension. You will see the little tensioner cam moving to pre-tension the spring.
Trigger single and double finger sections:
The controller is supplied with the single finger section fitted and the double finger option in a little packet to fit as required. To see the details click here.

Maintenance:
- Once you feel a scratchy movement of the wiper fingers over the contacts, or can hear squeaking then it is advisable to clean them. Apply a small amount of switch cleaner/lubricant, lighter fluid, or something similar, onto a cotton bud and, through the air flow slots in the casing, gently wipe over the contacts on the board.
- Be sure not to bend the cable at the exit of the handle. The wiring will break from metal fatigue after a while and cause intermittent operation. Wind the cable into a gentle coil as shown in the images and it will last.
